TERMS & LICENSES
Last updated: 30 September 2026
The license rules, software limitations, and purchase terms for FB Mods.
Scope and mandatory rights
These terms describe the FB Mods website, FB Frame Counter, and licenses sold at fbmod.com. FB Mods is an independent mod project, not affiliated with or endorsed by RobTop Games, Geometry Dash, Geode, or other mod developers. You need your own lawful copy of Geometry Dash and a supported Geode installation.
Nothing in these terms or any release warning excludes non-excludable consumer guarantees, statutory refunds, compensation, privacy rights, or other mandatory protections. Those rights take priority over conflicting wording. Please read the refund policy and privacy policy before purchasing.
Plans and payment
- Free: one server-authorized recording start per installation per UTC day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. An approved start consumes the allowance even if you stop the recording or later analysis fails; contact support about an erroneous allowance charge.
- 30 days — $5 USD: a one-time payment for unlimited recordings and access to the newest FB Frame Counter version, features, and updates during the license. The 30 days begin when the license is created after successful payment, not first activation. It does not automatically renew.
- Lifetime — $10 USD: a one-time payment for an FB Frame Counter license with no scheduled expiry, unlimited recordings, and its future features and updates as released. It does not include other current or future FB Mods products.
Prices are in US dollars. Review the checkout total before paying; your bank may charge its own currency conversion fees. Stripe processes payment, and the license code is emailed to the checkout email address. Keep your receipt and code. There is no promised schedule for future features or releases, and buying a license is not a purchase of an unreleased feature.
Activation, transfers, and connectivity
A paid license is for one person's use on one active installation at a time. Keep the code private; do not resell or share it to enable simultaneous use. You can move it to another installation through the supported transfer process; a successful transfer removes access from the previous installation. Transfers currently have a 24-hour cooldown. Contact support if a legitimate move cannot be completed.
An internet connection to fbmod.com is required for registration, activation, plan checks, and authorization of recording starts, including with a lifetime license. Outages can temporarily prevent recording. We will investigate service failures; mandatory remedies remain available if we cannot supply the access purchased. Sponsor or promotional codes follow the scope and expiry communicated when issued.
Beta status, bugs, and unstable releases
FB Frame Counter is still in beta, including the regular release channel. Bugs and issues are expected during development. Regular beta releases may contain bugs, inaccurate frame classifications, replay mismatches, crashes, or conflicts with game updates, speedhack, other mods, or particular levels. A “regular” label identifies the main download channel; it does not mean the mod is out of beta or that every gameplay fix or result has been verified.
Unstable Release downloads are separate, optional experiments. They may introduce more bugs, regressions, freezes, or data loss. An experimental speed change does not promise a measured speed multiplier or guaranteed completion time. Installing an unstable build replaces the installed regular beta edition; reinstall the regular download to switch back.
Try the free plan and review the release notes before paying. A bug report does not automatically entitle you to a refund; requests are assessed under our refund policy and applicable law. Back up recordings and game saves before changing versions. Treat analysis as a tool for investigation, not a guarantee of accuracy, a verified completion, leaderboard eligibility, or compliance with competition rules. You are responsible for checking the rules of any server, event, or leaderboard where you use the mod.
Acceptable use and license action
Do not use the services to attack systems, steal or distribute license credentials, spoof payment or activation responses, bypass license or daily allowance controls, or access another person's data. These rules do not prohibit activity that applicable law permits, including lawful security research or rights under third-party open-source licenses.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address credible abuse or a security threat. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to correct a breach or dispute a mistaken restriction; urgent security action may come first. Restrictions will be proportionate. A full refund ends the refunded license. We do not revoke paid access simply because you report a bug or make a good-faith complaint.
Software rights, availability, and responsibility
A paid purchase grants the access described for that plan; it does not transfer ownership of the software or third-party game assets. Third-party and open-source components remain governed by their own licenses.
We do not promise support for every future game, operating system, or third-party mod version, uninterrupted availability, or a specific analysis result. These limitations explain product scope; they do not excuse failure to meet legal duties or remove a remedy for access or functionality we promised to supply. We will assess bug, compatibility, and outage reports in good faith under the refund policy.
To the extent applicable law permits, we are not responsible for loss caused solely by your unlawful use or modifications outside our control. This does not exclude responsibility for our own breach, negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and disputes
New terms will be dated and available here. Changes to future prices or plans apply to future purchases. We will not retroactively remove an existing paid entitlement through a policy update. If a material service change affects paid access, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and explain available options and applicable remedies.
